BRIEF:
For our first practice 2 project, we are to look at different growing systems in the bioponic spectrum. We have to find a plant of our choice and apply a suitable growing system for its final design. The table must be small enough to fit on a study desk, and the main purpose is to make it as educational as possible. My chosen plant was the Stachys Byzantina (Lamb's ear) and I will be going for the soil based growing system.

REFLECTION:
If anything, this was the most educational and experimental project I have ever worked on. From learning about different ways to keep a plant alive, to visiting the ecological centre on campus, and experimenting with different kinds of concrete. This project allowed me to step out of my safe zone and allow me to work with materials I have never explored before. There were a lot of faults along the way, but that was how I was able to know what to avoid the next time. Working with mainly cement and different other concrete types was such a humbling experience, yet an educational one that has me excited for using the medium again in the near future.
